What is Krav Maga?

Krav Maga is a very practical, street-level self-defence system. It was originally created for the Israeli Defence Forces in the 1940s but has since been modified for civilian use. Krav Maga techniques have been battle-tested in real, life-threatening situations – this is why they work.

As well as self-defence techniques, you will learn…

  • how to prevent an attack
  • how to protect others
  • fighting and combat skills
  • defences against various weapons, including knife, gun & stick attacks

Techniques are easy to learn and retain as they are based on natural and instinctive human reaction.

Fight, Flight or Freeze?

How would you react in a dangerous situation? Your first response should be to avoid it or run away. But not all situations will allow this.

As well as physical self-defence skills, Krav Maga will train you mentally so that you can function during the stress and shock of a violent confrontation.
